Stronger Communities Programme - EOIs Now Open

Does your organisation have a great local project that will benefit our community, and needs financial support?

The Stronger Communities Programme is part of the Albanese Labor Government’s commitment to deliver social benefits in communities across Australia. It provides grants for community projects that encourage and support participation in local projects and contribute to vibrant communities.

I am now inviting eligible organisations to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI).

  • Grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 will be available to fund a maximum of 20 local projects in Braddon
  • EOIs are invited from not-for-profit community organisations and local governments for funding small capital projects that deliver social benefits and boost local community participation
  • This includes small-scale infrastructure upgrades, fit-outs and equipment purchases that will be completed by 31 March 2028
  • Shortlisted organisations will be invited to submit a full application for funding, which will be due by 19 January 2027

Please ensure you read the grant guidelines and eligibility criteria here before submitting your EOI.

EOIs must be submitted online using the form here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeXSiDdEmaJuoXRDZisb7FSG6V6PJ6wL7Uic5n4cUjaMNZdNw/viewform?usp=publish-editor

EOIs close at 5PM, 6 NOVEMBER 2026.
