2027 Calendar Photography Competition
CALLING ALL AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS
Each year I print a calendar featuring local photography of the Braddon electorate, and this year I am giving two amateur photographers the opportunity to be featured on the 2027 calendar.
All photos entered in the competition must showcase the beauty of Braddon, and our incredible local communities.
I will select the top five photos which will then be posted to my Facebook page for the Braddon community to vote on their favourite two photos.
The two winning photos will featured on the 2027 calendars, with photo credit, and each winner will receive a $100 EFTPOS gift card.
Entries are now open and will close at midnight on Monday 18th May 2026.
The public vote will open on my Facebook page on Friday 22nd May, closing Wednesday 27th May. Winners will be notified on Friday 29th May.

Please submit your photos by email to [email protected], with your full name, contact number, residential address and a description of your photograph. If you're under 18, please also include your age. Please also indicate that you're happy for your image to be used by Anne Urquhart MP, with appropriate photo credit.
Terms and Conditions
1. The competition opens at 12:00pm on Monday 20 April and closes at 12:00am on Monday 18 May. Any entry after this time will not be eligible. The five finalists will be notified by Friday 22nd May, with the two winners being notified on Friday 29th May.
2. You must live in the Braddon electorate.
3. The competition is open to amateur photographers only.
4. You may enter the competition as many times as you like.
5. Entries can be colour or black and white and must be in landscape orientation. They must be submitted by email in a .JPEG .jpg, or .png format to [email protected]. HDR images are acceptable.
6. Each entrant who is selected as a finalist or the winner agrees to the MP using their name and/or submission in any media in relation to the photograph or the competition.
7. Prize Details
- the prize(s) will be as described in the competition announcement.
- Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash
8. General Conditions
- The organiser reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition if unforeseen circumstances arise.
